I recently heard about the First 70 documentary in passing conversation, and after looking more into it I've realized just how amazing it really is. The First 70 is about three filmmakers who journey through California to visit the 70 state parks which the legislature is proposing to close. Throughout the documentary you will experience the beauty and history of these wildlife areas & get a sense of the heart and soul of the individuals that are working so hard to care for and maintain them. If you've spent anytime in California's state parks you'll side with how imperative it is that they remain open and maintained.
