Can't Get Enough

the art of letterpress is something that i've admired for a long time and have wanted to pursue for a while as well. there are several workshops out there that offer vast amounts of hands on learning for beginners and advanced press folks. you might ask why i haven't just attended one of these and gotten a move on already, but the downside is that most classes don't post their sign up sheets until a few weeks ahead of time and for the most part they are in places far far away from the texas panhandle. this is exactly the case with the lovely workshops Tanya Roberts offers over at Snap + Tumble. i've followed her blog for a while now and witnessed my admiration for the letterpress swell. below are a few photos she's snapped for her personal blog and others are from a little interview she did at Box Car Press. Please take a second and look at her sweet blog {http://snapandtumble.blogspot.com/} and if you fall in love like i did perhaps you could contact her on the Snap + Tumble website {http://snapandtumble.com/about.html} to discuss having your own upcoming party invitations created!

  1. If there is a workshop for Letterpress enthusiasts in Amarillo, you must let me know. I will be there in a heartbeat. If money were no object, I'd buy an old heidelberg and a ton of ink and paper and start MOVING!

  2. I'll will keep my eyes and ears open! I'd love to set one up in the shop and let the public come by to learn on it and create too! Keep those fingers crossed something happens sooner than later!
