Monday Muse

Last night we spent the evening snowed in, by the fire, watching the PBS special on Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. I had heard about him in passing, but never really dug that deep into his cause, his motivation, or his artworks. After seeing the segment last night I am in awe. Weiwei's drive is beyond my comprehension.

Today's film is one of his short's which follows his process to find and gather the names of the children who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake that shook China a few years ago- they are in the thousands. Please take the time to watch the entire thing- hopefully you too will be forever changed and support him and his fellow countrymen in their fight.
