this post from {lost} was something that i couldn't resist sharing. although they are from a serious about the disappearing face of NY (photographed by james and karla murray) they remind me of all the wonderful signage that can be found on old Route 66. perhaps i'll make a weekend drive from albuquerque to shamrock and document my midcentury finds along the way as well!
